APR skipper Patrick Mafisango could be on his way to Simba FC after conceding that he wants to play in Tanzania’s premier league next season.
After APR’s 2-1 victory over Simba in the on-going Kagame Cup, the Congolese neutralized Rwandan international admitted that he had always craved to play for the Tanzanian club.
"Simba is a strong club with good quality players so technically, any player would love to play for them,” Mafisango said.
Mafisango has become one of the most accomplished players in the Rwandan league. Although he has been converted into a central defender, the holding midfield role remains his preference.
Mafisango’s contract at APR runs out in 2011.
Simba is also in the hunt for Rayon Sport left back Abuba Sibomana and Sofapaka attacking midfielder Bob Mugalia.
