The COPA inter-Africa tournament will bring a total of 12 teams from Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Ethiopia and an Africa Invitational Team comprising of players from Congo, Rwanda, Mozambique and South Africa.
The teams will undergo a two-week camp at the High Performance Training Center at the University of Pretoria from May 30. The first week will be aimed at participating in life skills, tests and exercises.
The teams will then be drawn into two pools to compete on a round robin format. Meanwhile, the national Copa Cola-Cola championship has reached the semi-final stage.
Nyarugenge will meet Gasabo in the first semi-final while Nyanza will take on Rubavu on May 29 with winners facing-off in the finals on May 30 in Butare, Southern Province.
