Mayor Ildephonse Kambogo has assured people coming for the festive season in Rubavu District to feel comfortable as safety is granted.
"Rubavu town is safe. I recently held talks with the Mayor of Goma and we shared information, life is going on as usual. It is obvious that Rwandans want to know about the security before coming to Rubavu, but I want to assure you that it is safe, whether you travel day and night. Relations with Congolese people in Goma are good,” he said.
