How are the other Gorillas doing?

Editor, I learnt, with profound regret in the online edition of The New Times, that one mother gorilla and three infants died because of extremely adverse weather conditions. Since a member of my family is not only extremely interested and fond of Gorillas but just earlier this year returned from visiting Rwanda and the Mountain Gorillas, she is concerned about the fate and up to date condition of the gorillas she met and observed during her visit.

Editor,

I learnt, with profound regret in the online edition of The New Times, that one mother gorilla and three infants died because of extremely adverse weather conditions.

Since a member of my family is not only extremely interested and fond of Gorillas but just earlier this year returned from visiting Rwanda and the Mountain Gorillas, she is concerned about the fate and up to date condition of the gorillas she met and observed during her visit.

Any information you should be able to provide would be gladly appreciated and passed on to my said family member – many thanks in advance for any kind of help and assistance you can deliver in reply to the aforementioned request.

With kindest regards and all good wishes from Germany.

Editors Note: - The unfortunate deaths of the gorillas are a great loss. However, Rica Rwigamba, the RDB Head of Tourism and Conservation, has revealed that these deaths took place among the research group which isn’t visited by tourists. The gorillas visited by your relatives are doing fine.
