NYAGATARE - A woman who was allegedly caught committing adultery, last Sunday, in Musheri sector, Nyagatare district, has been  admitted at Musheri Health Centre, after being beaten by the wife of the cheating husband.

According to area residents, drama ensued when Agnes Mukamwezi, a house wife found her husband, Samuel Mugabo in bed  with Annonciata Nikuze in their marital home.

‘It was during the celebrations to mark women’s achievements. Mukamwezi had attended celebrations but no sooner had she arrived back home than she found her husband cheating on her,’ one of the residents said.

In an interview with The New Times, Musheri sector Executive Secretary, Christopher Kabana, confirmed the incident, revealing that Mukamwezi used a hoe to hit Nikuze on her  head.

‘We found her bleeding and took her to Musheri Health Centre for treatment,’ he said.

Kabana added that Mukamwezi was arrested and detained at Musheri Police Post while her husband has since disappeared.
