APR        7-0 Bugesera
GSSR      1-0 Les lioness
Muhoza   3-0 Rubavu

AS KIGALI’s lead at the top was yesterday slashed to two points after the champions lost 1-0 to Inyemera in Gicumbi. Claire Uwimana scored the lone goal of the match in the 76th minute to condemn the champions to their first defeat of the season.

However, AS Kigali Coach Grace Nyinawumuntu was quick to blame the water logged pitch for the defeat.

"It was a very poor pitch and we found it very hard to play our game,” she said before adding, "But I’m sure we will bounce back in our next match against Aspej.”

At Ferwafa, title rivals APR romped to a 7-0 win over Bugesera. Anatholie Nirere, Annet Nacimbugwe and Aimee Flora Tuyizere scored the military side’s goals.

Remera Rukoma (GSSR) also secured a vital 1-0 win over Le Lioness to move to 27 points while Muhoza defeated Rubavu 3-0.
