Kagame hosts kids X-mas party

URUGWIRO - President Paul Kagame last evening hosted his traditional children Christmas party at Village Urugwiro.During the colourful event, Kagame encouraged children to develop a strong bond with their motherland, saying that is what would make them good future citizens. “The major reason we are here today is to share Christmas cake with you and take this opportunity to wish you a prosperous new year,” the President told the buoyant children. The annual event was attended by children picked from all the districts in the country.

URUGWIRO - President Paul Kagame last evening hosted his traditional children Christmas party at Village Urugwiro.

During the colourful event, Kagame encouraged children to develop a strong bond with their motherland, saying that is what would make them good future citizens.

"The major reason we are here today is to share Christmas cake with you and take this opportunity to wish you a prosperous new year,” the President told the buoyant children.
The annual event was attended by children picked from all the districts in the country.

Most of the 30 districts were represented by three children but some delegated four.

The children after sharing light moments with the First Family were given gifts that included scholastic materials and sports equipment like footballs.
