In his upcoming project, DJ B is taking a furious dig at his former girlfriend, Rosine Umunezero, in his second track dubbed “Numunyarirenga”. After having released “Ingare”, another dissing song, his new track talks about the disloyalty of his ex-lover, and it clearly spells out what happened between the couple; or at least, his version why he dumped Umunezero.
In his upcoming project, DJ B is taking a furious dig at his former girlfriend, Rosine Umunezero, in his second track dubbed "Numunyarirenga”.
After having released "Ingare”, another dissing song, his new track talks about the disloyalty of his ex-lover, and it clearly spells out what happened between the couple; or at least, his version why he dumped Umunezero.
After dramatically being dumped, Umunezero reported her ex-boyfriend DJ B to the police, and he was arrested for 30 days for impregnating her at the age of 19 and for refusing to meet paternal responsibilities for their baby boy.
In an interview, DJ B told The New Times that in both his tracks, he wanted to rebuke Umunezero for being responsible for his unlawful arrest.
"Umunezero and I had dated for over 12 months, but she later reported me to the police, accusing me for having defiled and impregnated her,” DJ B said.
"I don’t hate her, but it’s her dishonest act that prompted me to compose tracks—just to show her how much I was hurt.”
The DJ, real name, John Baptiste Uwayezu is currently working on his new movie "Urwishigishiye ararusoma” about his sore relationship with Umunezero slated to be launched in August this year.
DJ B is a locally renowned music producer and has worked with a number of famous local and regional artists, including Rwanda’s Bac T and Jamal, a famous artist in Uganda.
Umunezero could not be reached for comment by press time.
