Allow a decent amount of space between each hanging. Alternatively, consider first hanging up two canvases and placing another two below them to create a square that consists four canvases, each painted a different colour.
Consider bringing in some floor and table lamps, in addition to making your space homey they have the tendency to show people in a much more flattering light than harsh florescent lights.
Also, keep your lamp options simple that way they won’t collect too much dust, as a result they will be much easier to clean compared to intricate and elaborate ones.
If you are struggling with an empty space, an area rug can easily fill it up by adding character and making it feel warm and inviting.
