The Mayor of Kicukiro district, Paul Jules Ndamage, yesterday launched the construction of 2 km tarmac road from Niboye junction to Kicukiro trading centre.

The project under the Common Development Fund (CDF) in the Ministry of Local Government will be undertaken by Horizons Construction.

During the ceremony, Ndamage thanked the community for contributing Rwf14m towards the maintenance of the road. 
He also revealed that CDF will provide more funds for the construction of another road in the district.

According to the Acting General Manager of Horizons construction, Eng. Claude Gahamanyi, the project will be completed within four months.
