AFTER securing top flight football, Gervais Manirakiza wants to go a notch better by guiding Muhanga to the second division title.

Muhanga will take on La Jeunesse in the final to be played on June 5 at Nyamirambo’s Regional stadium and Manirakiza, who recently took over the reins after Suleiman Nyibizi’s resignation wants to make further history by winning the title.

"It has been an incredible season for the team and applauds go to Nyibizi for taking the team to the playoffs.”
"We now want to finish off the job,” the former UNR Coach added.

One of Muhanga’s senior officials Innocent Gashugi has even tipped Manirakiza to sign a permanent contract with the club.

"He has done a great job and the chances of him staying are very high,” the official said.
