RWAMAGANa-Genocide survivors from Rwamagana district have formed a cultural troupe that would exhibit the Rwandan genocide to the international community.

The newly formed troupe is currently undergoing intensive training at AVEGA centre in Rwamagana.

In an interview with The New Times, the head of the troupe Jean Pierre Kanyandakwe said that it would emphasis ‘Never Again’, "The troupe is made up of experienced people and we intend to focus more on poems, singing and dance, plays all aimed at demonstrating to the world what happened in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide,” he said.

He added that the group is also expected to be a platform to discuss issues affecting Genocide survivors.
Kanyandakwe said that this will help to relieve them (survivors) of their grief.

According to Kanyandakwe, troupe members will also be discussing issues affecting the country such as HIV/AIDS.

One of their trainers, an experienced singer Dieu Donnne Munyanshoza said that wiping out genocide ideology needs combined efforts of all Rwandans.
