Editor,

This letter is in reference to your Editorial in yesterday’s issue on ‘Cultural Tourism as a key investment sector.’ It is very true that Rwanda has a rich cultural heritage and this can well be explored to enhance the tourism offerings of the country even further.

While promoting cultural tourism, it may be interesting to explore the possibilities of promoting "home stays” not only in Kigali but also in other parts of this beautiful country.

The advantage of home stays is that the local people of Rwanda get a direct benefit out of tourism earnings which will then help in taking Rwanda Tourism to even greater heights in the near future.

As an ardent supporter of the country, we would be very happy to assist the concerned authorities in developing cultural tourism and home stays in Rwanda - the Land of a Million Smiles!
