I want to applaud the Amavubi Stars and the coaching team for the important 1-1 score line away to the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in the first leg of the 2011 CHAN final qualifying round match, which was played on Saturday at the Uhuru stadium, Dar es Salaam.

Now all they have to do is push on and get an even better result here at the Amahoro Stadium.

On another but similar note, I wish all the best to the up and coming striker Elias Uzamukunda a.k.a Baby, who has joined French third division club AS Cannes on a two and half year deal.

I hope that this deal opens the door for the other talented Rwandan youngsters to European clubs. I hope that he uses this opportunity wisely and see’s his star continue to rise and rise.

I wish to see him on prime-time television banging in goals for a top team.
