ONLY five clubs have so far submitted their players’ lists to the regional football body (Cecafa) with 12 days before the Kagame Cup competition which gets underway on May 15 at Amahoro stadium.

The Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye confirmed yesterday the five clubs as Mafunzo (Zanzibar), Telkom (Djibouti), URA (Uganda), St.George (Ethiopia) and TP Mazembe (DRC).

However, Musonye warned the remaining seven clubs to confirm their players’ lists by tomorrow or risk being withdrawn from the list of clubs who will be issued air ticket fares.

"I am warning participating clubs to submit their lists of players by Tuesday and failure to do so, they will be compelled to buy their own tickets,” Musonye said.
