After ensuring that customers witness a frenzy World Cup campaign that came to an end in Qatar on Sunday with Lionel Messi and Argentina going back home victorious, Canal Plus isn’t done offering more promotions to their esteemed customers.
The anticipated return of the English Premier League on Boxing Day and other European top leagues like Spanish La Liga, Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1 all preparing to return in action, means that Canal Plus’ sports channels are going to become as busy as they were before the World Cup.
As part of Canal Plus Rwanda’s new move to celebrate the festive season with its customers, the distributor effectively announced a new promotion where customers who buy any subscription will automatically have a 15-day promotion of watching all Canal Plus channels.
That means, people who will buy either Ikaze (Rwf5,000), Zamuka (Rwf10,000) or Zamuka na Siporo (Rwf20,000) subscription package will get a two-week subscription bonus to watch CANAL+ full bouquet (Ubuki) subscription.
The World Cup has just come to an end but Canal Plus Rwanda Managing Director Sophie Tchatchoua said it is just the beginning of big entertainment at Canal Plus.
"We have Bishop Season2 on ZACU TV, a new channel in 100 Kinyarwanda, kids are coming back home for holidays and we thought about them with our kids channels. And, most importantly, the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1, return on Boxing Day, and in January we have CHAN. There is pretty much to enjoy during the festive season,” Tchatchoua said.
"We have a big surprise in terms of content, but we also have an offer where existing clients can be given a two-week promotion to watch full bouquet (Ubuki) as long as they renew any of their subscriptions,” she added.
Customers will enjoy the promotion until December 31.
Meanwhile, new clients can pay Rwf5000 for Canal Plus kits and an extra Rwf5000 for installation. This promotion runs until December 26.
"We hope they go for it,” she said.
