GICUMBI – Over 3,000 Gicumbi district residents whose Monday provisional driving permit exams were cancelled due to a leakage, sat for fresh exams on Tuesday.
Residents started arriving at Gicumbi stadium for the exams as early as 7.00 a.m.

Addressing residents prior to the beginning of the exams, the District Police commander (DPC) Supt. Jean de Dieu Gashiramanga cautioned them against exam malpractices.

"If any one of you is discovered to be cheating as you had attempted to do so on Monday, police shall cancel the exam for good,” he warned.

The exam for provisional driving permits kicked off at 10.00 am and by noon, most candidates had completed the exercise.
