Local film maker, Jerome Mugabo has revealed news about the release of his new movie ‘Gibraltar’, which is slated for June 2010. Mugabo also works as a technician at Radio 10.
The movie will star Eric Ujuje, France Marie Uwase, Safari Kim Kizito and Fidel Victor.

Mugabo said ‘Gibraltar’ is in its final stages, and come June the movie will be out for everyone to watch.

"The movie reveals harsh conditions many young Africans go through while in their respective countries, which sometimes forces them to flee to foreign countries for survival,” Mugabo explained.

He added: "The movie also shows how these people forge their way to Europe, channelling through Gibraltar, a British overseas territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula and Europe at the entrance of the Mediterranean, thus choosing the title of my movie.”

Mugabo is working in collaboration with Rwanda Cinema Centre to make the movie successful.
