AFTER months of waiting, Rwanda has finally received her $20,000 (Rwf11.3m) million) cash prize for reaching the final of last year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup which was hosted in Nairobi, Kenya.

Amavubi Stars, under the tutelage of Eric Nshimiyimana and chasing for a second title lost to Uganda Cranes 0-2 in the final.

Uganda pocketed $30,000 while Zanzibar, who finished third, settled for $10,000 courtesy of tournament sponsors Orange Telkom.
