Kibuye vs Muhanga
La Jeunesse vs Nyanza

MUHANGA coach Suleiman Nyibizi has resigned as coach of the club three days before a crucial play-off match against Kibuye at Gatwaro stadium.

The 32-year-old coach told Times Sport that he had thrown in the towel because of accumulating arrears.
"The club management has been very unprofessional in the way they have dealt with the situation.”

"It is inconceivable that the players and coaching staff have not been paid for the last three months,” he fumed before adding, "I think enough is enough and wish the team all the best in their quest to play top flight football next season.”

The club’s Secretary General and team manager Innocent Gashugi acknowledged to Times Sport that the club had indeed not yet paid the coach but that they were planning to do so soon.

"It is unfortunate that he decided to resign. The club has been locked in some financial issues but we have now paid the players and we are also going to pay the coach.”

In the mean time, former National University of Rwanda (UNR) coach Gervais Manirakiza will take charge of the team.
