The Southern Province side last played in the top flight back in 2003 but Rwabukwisi feels it is time to make a return to the elite division.
"We recently received Rwf0.5m but know that we can earn more than double of that figure if we qualify for the 2010/2011 Primus league,” he said.
According to Rwabukwisi, the amount was given to players as bonuses for reaching the playoffs.
"That is what we have struggled for all season so it is only right that the players were rewarded for their effort.”
Nyanza finished the regular season unbeaten but are in for a tough test against a La Jeunesse side chasing for an instant return to the top flight after being relegated last season.
