Real estate firm, DN international, on Wednesday, visited Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre to pay tribute to victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi that claimed over one million lives.

Over 30 employees of the company converged at the centre where over 250,000 remains are buried.

DN International’s CEO, Nathan Loyd, said the visit was aimed at honouring the victims and understanding how the Genocide was planned.

"We will always respect our brothers and sisters and learn more of what happened during the Genocide and I call on everyone to always remember those who perished,” said Loyd.

"We have realized that we knew very little of what happened during the Genocide, but now it’s our turn to know the truth”.

"We as a company will keep coming every year and pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi,” said Loyd.

The company donated Rwf 100,000 to the centre.
