AMAVUBI coach Sellas Tetteh has urged Primus league coaches to work towards helping Rwanda reach the 2012 Africa Nations Cup.

The Ghanaian Fifa World U-20 winning coach made the remarks while meeting with top flight coaches.

Meanwhile, the coaches also asked Tetteh to create a close working relationship with them something which was unheard of during Tucak Branko’s reign.

Tetteh stressed the importance of establishing close working relations between journalists and the Amavubi camp.

Tetteh also promised to make his team selection based on merit.

"Selection will be done on merit so every player will have a chance to prove their worth.”

Some of the coaches who attended the meeting included Eric Nshimiyimana (Amavubi & APR), Sam Timbe (Atraco), Emmanuel Ruremesha (Amavubi & Rayon), Jean Marie Ntagwabira (Kiyovu), Thierry Hitimana (AS Kigali), Rafiq Nshimiyimana (Musanze), Ali Bizimungu (Mukura) and Abdul Mbarushimana (Electrogaz).

Others included Thomas Higiro (Amavubi goalkeeping coach), Calliope Kabalisa (Police goal keeping coach), Lain Patrice (Amavubi Academy), Vincent Mashami (Amavubi Academy) and Sogonya Khamiss (former Amagaju coach).

The team is set to embark on rigorous training ahead of the final CHAN qualifier against Tanzania. The first leg will be held in Dar es Salaam on the weekend of May 1-2 while the return leg will be held in Kigali a fortnight later.

The winner will earn a ticket to the 2010 event which will be hosted in Sudan from January 21 to February 10.
