Swiss actor, Anatole Taubman is set to visit Rwanda on April 18 to 23, in a mission to call to attention the plight of orphans in Rwanda, especially those orphaned by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Taubman, 39, is representing the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as a spokesman for vulnerable children around the world.

"Every child has the right to grow up healthy and safe,” said Taubman in a UNICEF statement issued on Wednesday.

While in Rwanda, Taubman will visit a number of orphanages around the country and meet several United Nations and government officials.

Over the years, the actor has starred in over 50 films like, ‘Quantum of Solace’, the latest of the 007 ‘James Bond’ sequels. He has also been nominated for the Swiss Oscar (Swiss Film Prize, for role as Friedemann Bach in Jagged Harmonies).
