The army side has embarked on two daily sessions as they fine tune themselves for the continental show piece which is also a qualifier for the FIVB Club World Championship. The club captain Alex Mulanga pointed out reception as one area that needs to be beefed up.
Mulanga also said that the team is targeting to improve on last year’s display where they finished seventh.
The team has also been boosted by France based setter Ellie Mutabazi.
Some of the clubs expected to grace the ten-day competition include Zamalek, Al Ahly, Etoile de Sahel, Sydia of Tunisa and Al Ahly Tripoli of Libya.
