It is time to remember the unfortunate souls that were victimised and killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Indeed efforts have been undertaken to see to it that this country rises from its blood-socked past to a promising future.

For this reason, allow me to hate all those people, (especially foreigners) who only think of genocide when they hear Rwanda.

This country has got a lot to offer to the world and people should take time to appreciate the current government’s efforts to re-brand this beautiful land of a thousand hills.

…shamelessly embezzle funds meant for helping survivors.
After the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi the current government found it wise to set up a fund to assist the survivors in terms of accessing education and a decent life.

I just hate those people who have taken it upon themselves to embezzle this money.

These crooks are just dancing on people’s graves by denying the survivors a second chance to a decent life. These fools deserve more than my hatred for they are so ill-mannered and a disgrace to our society.

…still invest time and energy in distorting our history.
If we do not accept and learn from our past then we surely cannot move towards a bright future.

Would it therefore not be fair enough if I choose to hate those who are still interested in peddling lies about the genocide?

People who talk about a double genocide and all sorts of crap just to gain an audience are jokers.

These guys need to know that falsifications cannot return the dead.

Since we cannot change the past let’s accept it and rebuild our country.

Anyone who is not willing to do this ought to know that I am so willing to hate on them for as long as they continue to play daft.

…never partake in activities to commemorate the genocide.
 The 1994 genocide against the Tutsi is not something that we can simply sweep under the carpet.

Therefore, a whole week is set aside for activities to remember the souls that perished during the 100 days. As I join the rest of the Rwandan community in saying Never Again, I cannot stop to condemn and of course hate all those people who run to neighbouring countries or those who lock themselves in their homes during this time as if the history of this country is of no meaning to them.
These people are way too disrespectful and deserve my utmost hatred.
 
…pretend to be experts on Rwanda yet they are just cowards.
I am talking about those pseudo-politicians who ran away (from justice) soon after the genocide to France, Canada, US and Belgium.

These are the same people who are always commenting about a country they have not been to in 16 years.

They position themselves as future leaders yet their past is linked to genocide activities. They think that Rwandans are fools and have forgotten everything that happened.

We have not forgotten and for thinking that we have, I HATE you and your supporters.
