It is the seventh day of the month
The month otherwise supposed to be when milk flows
No. Not anymore. Agony filled the air and blood filled rivers
Young and old; women and men; small and big
All faced the wrath of the ruthless "interahamwe”
An uncultured group of rogues trained to exterminate fellow human beings.

Such vindictiveness is what our country does not want to seize anymore…
NEVER AGAIN!

Genocide conceived, designed and duly implemented.
A dynamic force of gallant Rwandan men and women
Guided by a selfless, patriotic leader
Saved the country from further anarchy
Determined to create a lasting impression on the respect of human rights

The long time marginalized innocent citizens
Loud and clear are able to say
NEVER AGAIN!

"Never again” indeed, it’s the axiom and the code we live by,
The cipher that joins our breaths to espouse and continue to always sing
To rest our hearts, families and friends’ souls that left us.
It’s the new close relative that nurses our wounds
That befell us sixteen years back
All courtesy of spiteful, dim-witted, impenetrable wild like hearted beings
And filthy politics of nationals and internationals
Conversely, we still shall not rest our minds but always elevate them high
And we will always live to say
NEVER AGAIN!

Little kids, babies, and innocent lives expiring at the hands of a slayer
You will still be remembered,
And we will "never” forget what befell you
All because of the reject against you,
For such a beautiful, handsome face with that long nose
How foolish such an exterminator can subsist.
Nonetheless our hearts will always reside besides your souls
And we will always lower that flag half must to remember you

As we tattoo a cross our minds and hearts…
"NEVER AGAIN” … Never!!
