Editor, Through your paper I would like to urge every Rwandan to be close to people who are mourning those they lost in the dark days of 1994. What I mean here is that everyone should take the time to listen to whoever wants to confide about what happened to her/him during 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Editor,
Through your paper I would like to urge every Rwandan to be close to people who are mourning those they lost in the dark days of 1994.
What I mean here is that everyone should take the time to listen to whoever wants to confide about what happened to her/him during 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Following that, words of encouragement should be given to that broken hearted person.
These encouraging words can be taken from the Bible (for those who believe in this book) or from real life. Show them that the future holds great things for them and that they shouldn’t be overtaken by the past.
Let’s remember the theme of this year’s Genocide Commemoration Week ‘Let’s join efforts in fighting Trauma’ and through brotherly kindness, we will decrease the rate of trauma.
