Jean Claude Mvuyikongo, the outgoing Director of Economic Affairs in Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency (RURA), has said that he is winding up his last official projects at the agency before taking on his new appointment as Director General of the regional energy body, SINELAC.
Mvuyikongo told The Sunday Times yesterday that his immediate attention would be to accomplish a report of an ICT countrywide survey that was conducted among households by a team of experts for which he was national coordinator.
The joint team included officials from the National Institute of Statistics and conducted the survey early this year in 900 villages (Midugudu) countrywide.
"I can assure you that we have completed everything at the technical level and the Director General is yet to approve the report. It will be the most immediate of my final projects,” Mvuyikongo, whose appointment was last Thursday approved by the Cabinet.
The former National Coordinator of the Red Cross joined RURA in 2004.
