AS Kigali could go five points clear if they win their final first round tie against Rambura this afternoon at Kicuriko artificial turf.

The champions have been in impeccable form this season winning seven of their last eight matches and the team’s coach Grace Nyinawumuntu reckons that only complacency stands in their way of defending the title.

"We have not lost a league match since September last year and that is our biggest wary at the moment because players are starting to become over confident.”

"If we can avoid that, there is no reason why we cannot retain the title,” she confidently said.

Apart from that, the team looks certain to retain the title.” a confident Nyinawumuntu said.

APR will however reduce the gap to two if they beat Aspej tomorrow.

In other league games, Ruhango host Bugesera, Les Lioness takes on Rubavu while Remera Rukoma face Inyemera.
