Editor,
Now that Rwanda has dropped two places to 107th in the latest Fifa World rankings released on Wednesday in Zurich, Switzerland, puts the pressure on the new Amavubi Stars head coach Sellas Tetteh.

As he told the Times Sport on Thursday, "the ranking is living proof that a lot still needs to be done and one way of doing so is by qualifying for next year’s CHAN in Sudan,”

I wish him all the best in securing our passage to the CHAN final. Our ranking is simply poor and we have the responsibility to rectify this.

It isn’t simply something for the coach, national team or the ministry of sports. Every single Rwandan has a stake. We must support the team in every way we can.
