HULKS, a Silverbacks string side have their eyes fixed on the ultimate prize of today’s Nile Special 7 aside tournament at Dam waters Grounds in Jinja, Uganda, according to caretaker coach Camble Gikuua.

With the senior side jet-lagged after a long flight from Hong Kong, the national rugby federation (RRF) decided to field a string side but Gikuua insists that the young lads will give their all as they look to impress selectors of the Silverbacks.

"They are very enthusiastic about getting their first caps and playing in their first regional tournament, and are really keen to impress in order to get a call up to the senior side,” the Namibian coach said.

The one-day tournament has also attracted teams from Kenya and Uganda.

The winners will get approx Rwf0.5m while the first runners-up will walk away with Rwf150, 000.

Hulks team: S. Serge, V. Nsanzumuhire, D.Tuyisenge, N. Muhire, F. Nsengimana, Y. Izere, S. Mwiseneza, I. Nsanzimana, S. Mutasa, B. Ngizwenabo and P. Nduwayezu.
