The boys and girls’ sides will start non-residential training immediately after the mourning week (April 7-14) at Amahoro Stadium.
While the girls’ event is slated for July 29- August 6 in Egypt, the boys’ competition will be hosted in Kigali from September 14-24 and Innocent Karuhije, an official with the national basketball federation (Ferwaba) is optimistic the competition will be a success.
"After hosting a successful senior Africa club championship last year, we have no doubt that the U-18 CAN will be a success,” Karuhije said.
