A Silverbacks string side ‘Hulks’ is eager to emulate their senior side with a good show in the Nile Special 7 aside fun tourney scheduled for Friday at Dam waters Grounds in Jinja, Uganda.

With the first team yet to return from Hong Kong where they reached the Plate Cup final of the Kwoloo development Cup, Hulks coach Camble Gikuua told Times Sport that his team has the potential to win the one day tournament.

"They are young energetic lads who really want to impress to get a chance of playing in the national team so I’m optimistic that they will be a handful for the more experienced Ugandan and Kenyan sides,” the Namibian said.

The one-day tournament will attract teams from Kenya and Uganda and IRB (International Rugby Board) rules for seven-a-side tournaments will be applicable.

The winners will get approx Rwf0.5m while the first runners-up will walk away with Rwf150,000.
