NYAMAGABE – Christians of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nyamagabe district have been urged to follow the teachings in the Bible if they want to live peaceful and happy lives. Speaking at Gasaka Church, Pastor André Mujyarugamba, the regional representative of the Adventist Church in the southern region, said Christians need to read the Bible as a way of communicating with the Lord.
NYAMAGABE – Christians of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nyamagabe district have been urged to follow the teachings in the Bible if they want to live peaceful and happy lives.
Speaking at Gasaka Church, Pastor André Mujyarugamba, the regional representative of the Adventist Church in the southern region, said Christians need to read the Bible as a way of communicating with the Lord.
The congregation had gathered to receive the 8 kg- Bible version that is translated in 60 languages.
The multilingual Bible has been touring different parts of the world since 2008.
The Executive Secretary of Gasaka sector, Richard Gasana, noted during the event that the Bible is an important and rich document.
"You cannot exhaust the importance of the Bible in the human life. Not only is the Bible a source of peace for human beings, it is also a great source of knowledge,” Gasana said.
