SEVEN teams will descend on Amahoro Indoor stadium this weekend for the Fair Play tournament.

Usual suspects APR, Espoir, National University of Rwanda (UNR) and Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) will compete in the men’s category while the women contest pits UNR, KIE and reigning champions APR.

The two-day event together with next month’s Never Again tournament are curtain-raisers to this year’s league which throws off in May.

This year, APR, who finished second runners-up at last year’s FIBA-Africa Club Championships which were held in Kigali, are chasing for an unprecedented league hat-trick after lifting the title in 2008 and 2009.
