AFTER months of searching and trials here and there, Olivier Karekezi has finally joined swedish second division side IFK Malmö..

The former Amavubi skipper completed his two-year move after passing a one-week trail session last week.

According to Malmö’s head coach Andreas Ottosson, Karekezi brings a lot to the side, which is chasing for a return to the top flight division.

With the South African league set to resume after the upcoming FIFA World Cup, Karekezi, who had been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs opted to sign for Malmö as a way of getting regular first team football.
