Disi is unsure of his involvement in this yearu2019s Paris Marathon.

DIEUDONNE Disi is worried he could miss next month’s Paris Marathon. Speaking from his training camp in Eldoret, Kenya, the country’s ace athlete told Times Sport that he has hardly trained due to a nagging hamstring.

"I have barely trained because of the injury. At this point, I don’t think I’m going to recover in time for the marathon,” the 29-year-old panicked.

"My physio has now advised me to let go of the Paris marathon and concentrate on future events but I will decide after talking to my manager.”

One event Disi does not want to miss this year is the Delhi Games full marathon scheduled for October 3-14.
Disi sustained the injury during last year’s London marathon and then re-aggravated it during last month’s Paris half marathon.

The Paris Marathon which is heading into its 34th edition is scheduled for April 11. Last year, Disi had a forgettable outing after clocking 2 hours, 12 minutes and 51 seconds to finish a distant 18th in the race which as expected was dominated by Kenyans and Ethiopians.
