Sam Sebitana is the Manager of Karibu Restaurant in town.  Restaurant work can be demanding. Below, he tells us he goes through his demanding day:

My alarm clock awakes me at exactly 6a.m to go for a bath.  By 7:15, I am done with my preparations to drop my children to school.

By 7:50 I am at work. I inspect the various departments to monitor the work and find out the presence of other workers.

As soon as I believe I am done, I sit in the office to look at the previous days` reports to access, evaluate as well as make remarks and recommendations on various issues.

Of course this includes looking at expenditure and expenses.

I then switch on to the day’s program which includes checking on the list of purchases. I also attend to people on appointment as I plan to drop at the bank.

By mid day, I always visit our expansion site for inspection.  I have lunch at around 4 since I take time finding out customers’ responses and complaints if any.

I rest for an hour. Later, I go home and at 6p.m I report back to work.

I work until 11p.m and by mid night I am home. By 12:30 I am in bed.
