Editor,
APR is a football club like any other in the league and each club has  its own special fans. But, when it comes to African Champions League, we all have to support the club because it is representing Rwandan football.

In 1998, when rayon sport won the Cecafa trophy, all Rwandans gathered at Kanombe airport to receive the club from Zanzibar, regardless of what their favorite clubs were.
If we could unite like this in 1998 why can’t we do this in 2010?

Now that APR managed to beat Recreativo de Libolo from Angola to qualify for the next round, why not Mazembe?

While Mazembe are the African club champions and have great players like Mputu Tresor and Zambia’s Given Singuluma, we must also remember Zamalek’s loss to APR at the Amahoro national stadium. This team was regarded as a giant.

Therefore, I urge everyone to go to the stadium and cheer for our team, APR, so that we move to the next round.

The match begins at 3:30 pm. Otherwise I wish our team success and I hope that they get to next round of the Champions League.
