In preparation for the annual Salax Awards, scheduled for next month, singer/actress, Shanel is reportedly busy shipping her career across the borders.

The glamorous songster has travelled to Uganda today to shoot a music video for ‘Ndagukunda’, (I love You), her newest song with one of Uganda’s renowned artist, Mesach Semakula. The song was produced by Kann Records in Uganda.

‘Ndagukunda’ is composed in both Kinyarwanda and Luganda. It’s the first song Shanel has released with a Ugandan artist following her hit track "Nakutaka”, (I want you) that she released with Kenyan artist, Wyre last year.  

This video come after Shanel performed at Semakula’s "Taliiyo” album launch at Hotel Africana early, last month.

"I do not have much time to waste but to concentrate on building my career,” Shanel said.

At 24 years of age, Shanel is one of the top young artists in Rwanda.
