AMAVUBI STARS’ Coach Sellas Tetteh will resume his national duties on Saturday, according to the local football governing body (Ferwafa).
Ferwafa CEO Jules Kalisa yesterday revealed that the Ghanaian who recently won the African coach of the year award has delayed his return due to some private issues.
"He has communicated to us that he will report back for work on Saturday. Right now, he has some personal concerns to sort out.”
"Hopefully, he will be here in time for the Orange Champions league tie between APR and Mazembe,” Kalisa added.
Tetteh was appointed Amavubi Coach mid February with an immediate task of guiding the team to the 2012 Africa Nations Cup. He is also in charge of the U-20 and U-23 national sides.
For the African coach of the year award, Tetteh beat TP Mazembe coach Diego Garzitto and Nigeria’s Under-17 coach John Obuh.
