Simba Supermarket, Rwanda’s second largest supermarket has introduced a wide range of Bruno Vassari products on the Rwandan market.

The deal means that Simba Supermarket will be the sole distributor of Bruno Vassari’s product in Rwanda. It will also distribute the products to other retailers in the East African region.

While launching the products on Friday, Simba’s General Manager Justine Ngarambe said it’s an honour.

"Bruno Vassari’s products are a suitable match in our mission to bring high quality products to Rwandans at affordable prices and a given time of demand,” she said.
The Barcelona-based firm offers cosmetic products, mainly for women.

Ngarambe said Simba will work with several dealers in different parts of the country and the region, promising stable prices in a bid to ensure customer satisfaction.

Molly Rwigamba, acting CEO of the Private Sector Federation (PSF) called upon Simba management to take the opportunity as a win-win situation that should help the supermarket giant to export its items.

"Last year’s figures showed a bigger gap in the balance of trade but if we get big opportunities like these we should utilise them and we also export products to their countries. This will improve our economy,” she said.
