Reading yesterday’s paper, I found out that Rwanda had made history by being the first country to win,  four times in a row,  the Best African Exhibitor Award at the annual International Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin (ITB Berlin).

While I would like to congratulate the exhibitors, I would like the Rwanda Tourism sector to explain to the Rwandan pubic how wining the prize is actually helping our tourist industry.

And on another note, I wonder why there is very little press information about the event until we win it. I’m an ardent reader of The New Times but I didn’t know that the International Tourism Trade Fair was taking place in Berlin until I read that we’d won best exhibitor on Sunday.
