Climate Change is a regional issue
Editor, I’m pleased that East African Community (EAC) ministers recently met and held talks in Kisumu, Kenya over climate change and food insecurity.During this meeting, they concluded with a firm resolution to address food insecurity and the impact of climate change within the East African Community. Climate Change, and its consequences, will affect each and every nation in the world and it is my belief that the only way that we will be able to survive its consequences will be acting in tandem with other nations.

Editor,
I’m pleased that East African Community (EAC) ministers recently met and held talks in Kisumu, Kenya over climate change and food insecurity.During this meeting, they concluded with a firm resolution to address food insecurity and the impact of climate change within the East African Community.
Climate Change, and its consequences, will affect each and every nation in the world and it is my belief that the only way that we will be able to survive its consequences will be acting in tandem with other nations.
It is therefore pertinent that EAC countries put in place mechanisms that will help them cope. The meeting of ministers is a good first step.
