La Jeunesse and Kibuye lead the way in the fight to return back to the top division after crucial wins in their respective groups on Sunday afternoon.
Kibuye maintained their four point lead at the helm of Group A after thrashing Sorwathe 5-0. The Western Province club has not lost this season.
The other games in Group A saw Aspor thump Etoile de l’Est 3-0; Intare pipped won 1-0 away to Zebres, while Nyanza survived a late scare from Pepiniere to win 1-0.
In Group B, La Jeunesse still holds a slim one point advantage over Muhanga after Sunday’s 3-1 win over Union. Muhanga nailed Stella Maris 4-0 to stay in touching distance while National University of Rwanda (UNR) and Interforce also registered wins over ISAE (3-1) and Espoir (2-1) respectively.
