‘Umutima Ufasha’ concert flops

Last Friday, a concert aimed at raising money for shipping 42 computers and 10,000 books from the United States of America, flopped due to a poor turn up. “Only a few people attended the concert, and those who came, were late thus delaying the show,” said The Ben, one of the performing artists.

Last Friday, a concert aimed at raising money for shipping 42 computers and 10,000 books from the United States of America, flopped due to a poor turn up.

"Only a few people attended the concert, and those who came, were late thus delaying the show,” said The Ben, one of the performing artists. 

The show was scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m but delayed for over two hours, and at exactly 10:00 p.m, the police ordered the organisers to end the show. 

Local musicians; Riderman, The Brother, King James and The Ben performed.

The concert was organised by Books for Africa, a local project, and according to one of its members, Emily Duboir the project wants to donate to the country.
