This week the Rwanda OTC market was quiet as no transactions were recorded. The KCB shares remained at Rwf 160. At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.
Meanwhile, KCB announced a dividend payment for the year 2009 of Ksh1(Rwf7) per share to be paid on or about Friday, 28 May, 2010 to shareholders registered at the close of business on Monday, 10 May 2010. The shares are now trading cum dividend.
This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), shares traded down in general compared to the previous week.
KCB shares fluctuated between 21.00 Kshs (156 Rfw) high and 20.25 Kshs (Rwf151) low. On Thursday, a total of 332,500 KCB shares were traded and closed at 20.50 Kshs (153Rfw). The NSE All share index closed the week higher at 80.41 compared to the previous week’s closing of 78.13
