Corrupt ICTR officials should be heavily punished

Editor, I’m shocked toread that some officials in the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) are actually bribing witnesses. Acts like these go against everything that justice stands for. The fact that some servants of the justice sector are actually finding ways to unfairly circumvent it makes me wonder about the entire system.

Editor,

I’m shocked toread that some officials in the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) are actually bribing witnesses. Acts like these go against everything that justice stands for.

The fact that some servants of the justice sector are actually finding ways to unfairly circumvent it makes me wonder about the entire system.

Have any criminals been deemed innocent because some horrible people bribed witnesses? I certainly hope not!
I’m pleased that the head of the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG), Jean de Dieu Mucyo called for action to be taken against officials of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda who bribe witnesses.

I sincerely hope that these problems are quickly solved and the corrupt officials punished.
