I pleased that the government will put more emphasis in encouraging girls to pursue science and technology subjects in secondary and higher education. It is sad to see that not enough girls are becoming engineers, doctors and IT specialists.

Only through total involvement of both boys and girls shall our development goals be realized. We shall never be a regional science hub if we don’t utilize the gifts of each and every Rwandan, both male and female.
